Our Safaris
We offer several levels of safari trips, all customizable to your tastes.
Here are a couple of things to keep in mind when planning your safari.
- What animals do you want to see? Are you interested in the Big Five (lions, leopards, rhinoceros, elephants, and buffalo)? Or marine life? Does the idea of visiting an animal sanctuary and getting up close and personal with the animals interest you?
- What types of landscapes strike your fancy? Mountains, lakes, or coastal destinations?
- Are you the outdoorsy type that enjoys activities such as hiking or watersports?
- Do visits to heritage and tribal sites interest you?
- Length of trip
- Type of accommodations
- Extra activities such as bush walks and hot air balloon rides
- Travel season
- Mode of transport (air or road)
You also need to consider who will be traveling and their age groups, and whether children will be traveling. Some safari camps have age requirements. What type of vacation will this be, a romantic getaway or a business trip? All of this needs to be considered.

Bwana Safari Specials
Mahinda is passionate about Africa and believes in providing an amazing African experience. His aim is to take the hassle out of your travels and to help you have the best trip possible. He will provide information on the places you are travelling through, offer suggestions for things to do and see, recommend great local eating venues and introduce you to his family and friends. While not being a guide in the traditional sense you can expect him to have a broad general knowledge of his country Kenya, including historical, cultural, religious and social aspects. We also use local guides where we think more specific knowledge will add to the enjoyment of the places we are visiting- we think it's the best of both worlds. On all our safaris we use expert drivers/guides who are skilled and experienced driver and certified safari guide. #BwanaSafari
